About
Annabel is a New York based actor from Frederick, Maryland. Throughout high school, she worked with the Young Artists of America at Strathmore, a Washington DC based high school musical theatre company. There, she had the opportunity to learn from professionals including Adam Pascal, Jeremy Schonfeld, Hugh Wooldridge, and Stephen Schwartz.
Upon her high school graduation in 2018, she enrolled in the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, studying classical voice. There, studying with Karen Holvik, she was able to refine her musicianship and vocal technique. She also co-founded NEC's first original works theatre company, Join or Die Productions. As vice president of Join or Die, she both acted in and assistant directed their April 2019 production, Richard, and she directed their December 2019 production, Ghost Riders in the Sky.
She moved to New York in January 2020 to pursue acting training with Lindsay Mendez and Ryan Scott Oliver's Actor Therapy. She continued to take online classes in acting, voice, and dance throughout the pandemic while working full-time at a retirement home and taking care of her pit bull, Cosette.
Since returning to the city in January 2021, she has been hard at work in classes and auditioning, and most recently returned to 54 Below for the 10th anniversary of Ryan Scott Oliver's song cycle 35mm.
